Now although it's GREAT that our boys are projected to take the #3 spot on the Billboard 200, if the projection of 45,000 copies sold comes true it would be the lowest opening week for Big Time Rush. Back in 2011, Elevate debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 and sold 70,000 copies in its first week. Before that, in 2010, BTR's debut album debuted at #3 and sold 67,000, according to Billboard and Nielsen SoundScan.
No matter what though, the boys certainly can be proud of the chart position! We'll find out officially what spot the boys land in on Wednesday, June 19. Be sure to go support the boys and download a copy of 24/Seven on iTunes or go out and pick up a copy!
